SHORE EXCURSION IN ...

From the port of Ashdod we will head towards Jerusalem, and we will reach it in about an hour and twenty. There we will visit the Garden of Gethsemane, located on the Mount of Olives, where Jesus retired after the last supper before being betrayed by Judas and arrested. We will continue our tour by visiting the Basilica of Nations, built in 1924 thanks to the contribution of many countries.
Then we will visit the Western Wall, the only " very sacred "place for the Jews. From the square, also , you can see the El Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock , a holy place for Muslims.
We will continue our shore excursion along the Via Crucis, until we reach the Holy Sepulchre and the Mount of Calvary.
We will have a little free time for lunch , and then we will continue our excursion to Bethlehem , where we will visit the Basilica of the Nativity, built on the site where an ancient tradition commemorates the birth of Jesus
Finally we will return to our bus that will lead us back to the port of Ashdod for boarding
