SHORE EXCURSION ARGOSTOLI
From the port of Argostoli, we will leave by bus to reach the Castle of Assos, dating from the Venetian domination. We will visit the Castle, and in its highest point we will find the ruins of the citadel, and a chapel dedicated to St. Mark. From the fortress you can enjoy a beautiful view of the harbor of Asos and the coast of the peninsula of Erissos. We will admire the ruins of the Christian Basilica, and then continue to the ancient city of Sami. Here we will have a short free time, then we will back to the bus and continue our shore excursion making a brief stop in the picturesque beach of Myrtos.
We return finally to the harbor of Argostoli for boarding.
