This is one of the most beautiful areas of the picturesque Norway. Even if the city is very small, the surrounding mountains and fjords are among the largest in Norway. Andalsnes is on the river Rauma, one of Norway's first rivers to attract foreign British aristocrats and other passionate fishermen in the late nineteenth century by the famous Norwegian salmon. Andalsnes is also the natural gateway fot the Romsdal Alps , where there's the famous Troll Wall, a rock high above 1000 meters. Driving along the "Road Trollstigen Hairpin Bend" will arrive at Niagara Stigfossen, where we can take great pictures, we will remain breathless for the view on Trollstigheimen, the highest peak touched by this excursion. At the end of this scenic shore excursion, we will return to the port for boarding.
