Santiago de Compostela is a very very important destination for Christian pilgrimage that dates back to the ninth century and is considered one of the most beautiful cities of Spain.
We will leave the port and our bus will drive us to Santiago de Compostela. We will start our tour from the Historical centre -the old town, an UNESCO World Heritage Site-with its squares and the Cathedreal facade. Here our guide will give us all the descriptions of the Cathedreal’s interior (the guides are not allowed to enter and illustrate its features from the inside). We will get all the information to reach the Saint’s statue and to descend the crypt, where the Saint is buried.
After visiting the Cathedreal we will keep visiting the centre and pass by Quintana square and the pazo de Xelmírez and the pazo De Fonseca ( the old University). We will pass by the rue Vilar and the rue Franco before getting back to the bus that will drive us back to the port.
