The bus will drop you at one of the doors of the Medina, the most characteristic area in Tunis, founded 13 centuries ago, The medina of Tunis has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site and contains some 700 monuments, including palaces, mosques and fountains.

First of all in our shore excursion in Tunis, we will visit the boulevard Bourghuiba: a long, wide streetthat reminds the atmosphere of the Champ Elisee in Paris, and goingi ahead from west to east through the modern city ending at the threshold of the Medina. Here, we will get confused in the crowd and we will be guided through the everyday life of the Medina: this excursion will offer us the opportunity to discover and enjoy the city, rather than city visiting. Certainly, there are a lot of attractions, and it’s impossible not to visit one the most wonderful arabian palaces, called Dar Hussein Palace, built in 18th century, that houses the National Institute of Art and Archaeology.

After we will them most popular souks and monuments, we will hop on the bus to go to Carthage (the famous rival city of ancient Rome) to take a look at the ruins from outside.
