SHORE EXCURSION IN LA VALLETTA
Departure from the port in bus to the Upper Barrakka Gardens where we will do our first stop in our shore excursion. From this site, built by the Knights of St. John, we can enjoy a beautiful view of the city and the natural harbor of Malta. Then we will walk downtown to visit St. John's Cathedral, the famous cathedral of the Knights of Malta, which houses the famous work of Caravaggio: The Beheading of Saint John the Baptist. Then we will go to Mdina to visit the old town, the walls of the city and visit St. Paul's Cathedral. At the end of the shore excursion we'll return to the port in bus.
